Needed to end the week with an upbeat dubstep remix, and this one fits the bill nicely. “Look At Me Now” is kind of a love/hate song, but it does have an upbeat vibe and this remix really capitalizes on that, and best of all, it loses the shitty Chris Brown verse! It’s up for free download this week which means you are also getting a freebie, so grab the download and have a nice weekend!

This is a very experimental piece for Derek, who usually relies on very soulful filled melodies, and as of late, hard hitting remixes. This however, is a bit more abstract sounding to my ears, call it acquired listening, call it a new style, Derek seems to be showing that he can put great effort and ability into any type of sound he pursues. I know a few people won’t be too happy to here this new style for Derek, but I for one am really please with how this turned out.

Vexare is quite a talented producer for his young age, and he brings a youthful element into his music while still being able to put together the melodies of a veteran producer. He seems to be improving with every track, so it will be exciting to hear more from this young upstart in the dubstep world in the future.
Um, wow. I hope you are ready to listen to something heavy, as this track [insert generic YouTube comment on how dirty it is]. Seriously though, I am typically much more fond of the soulful electronic/electro scene, and usually like my dubstep with more focus on melody, but this monster of a track is dropping soon and is definitely a head banger, so I’d thought I’d share.
New release from the Colorado crew, loving the same and the overall melody of the track, but I will say that I am hoping that Big Gigantic steers clear from too many “wobbles” for their next album release, because their distinct jazz/electro sound keeps them standing out from the crowd.
I do my best to try to update on only stuff I haven’t seen posted much before, and this one definitely fits the bill, as I have not seen this covered anywhere as of yet. A dubstep remix of ‘The Final Countdown’ as performed by Beats Antique, this track definitely rocks out in an unusual way. Since they released it for free, there is also a free download right below this post, check it out!
Rusko released “Everyday” a few months ago, and since that time a short remix EP has been released featuring some quality remixes of “Everyday” plus a new releases called “Lick The Lizard.” From this album, however, Netsky positively shines above everyone else, and released what is easily the bestĀ interpretationĀ of Rusko’s original track.
