Paper Diamond really came out with a sick mix of this song in my opinion, I like where it goes in that it feels true to the original while still has traces of Paper Diamond’s style. Overall a really original and excellent tracks gets a quality remix from a guy with a unique sound, what’s not to like?

I don’t even care if this is the official track for the remake, I’m still posting the picture of the N64 version. Nostalgia is strong with this one (you know I love my video game remixes). Seriously though, Camo & Krooked are able to combine an electro/dubstep feel to a song with a strong orchestral piece and it doesn’t come out terrible, in fact it’s quite good. Bravo to them for pulling this off, and I wish them the best getting featured in the upcoming game!
Wow, what to say about this track… simply another banger. I’ve featured both full albums by Big G and Dom’s Black And Yellow Remix, and I’m glad to see the sax is back in full effect in this track. Still contains the trend towards a more “womp” dubstep sound if you get my meaning, but with a much heavier emphasis on the sax, perhaps Dom trying to please both sides of his growing fanbase? Either way, I approve.
The RE:GENERATION series is a set of tracks from an upcoming documentary that follows electronic artists as they produce tracks in a distinct classic style.
From the project itself:
Presented by Hyundai Veloster, RE:GENERATION is a documentary film that follows DJ Premier, Pretty Lights, The Crystal Method, Mark Ronson, and Skrillex as they remix, recreate and re-imagine five traditional styles of music. Learn more at youtube.com/veloster and regenerationmusicproject.com.
Sounds like some interesting stuff, the videos for each song are below.
Somebody (not me) has uploaded the tracks on SoundCloud and a variety of places, but I have no idea where one would go to get the tracks normally.
You can also listen to them below.
1.) DJ Premier feat. Nas – “Regeneration”
2.) Pretty Lights – “Wayfaring Stranger”
3.) Skrillex – “Breakn’ A Sweat”
4.) Mark Ronson – “A La Modeliste”
5.) The Crystal Method – “I’m Not Leaving”
Had to do another dark Halloween track, it’s just the thing to do! Originally by Excision & Liquid Stranger, this remix definitely fits the bill. Haunting ambiance and a heavy bassline, fits the darker Halloween tone perfectly. For the second time, enjoy your Halloween and enjoy the download!
You probably remember Omnitica from his ‘And A Bottle Of Bass’ track I posted not too long ago. Well today he’s got a very good and very “themed” freebie for us, a Halloween track featuring some scary samples and some even scarier basslines (I actually twitched a little that joke was so corny, forgive me). Anyways, it’s up for free, so show the man some love by sharing it! Enjoy your Halloween!

This is actually not a single release by one artist but rather a BIG 19 track mixtape of Moombahton featuring a variety of artists who produce in the genre. Saying that, you are either going to fall in love with this mix if you are already a Moombahton fan, and if you aren’t (or you have no idea what it is) you are able to check out a large sampling of Moombahton tracks. I’ve already featured a few other Moombahton songs on the blog, so check this out and enjoy!
Ah, a dubstep remix of a popular mainstream song, better tread carefully. Luckily, this track, although not setting any records for innovation, pretty much gives you exactly what you want from a remix: a catchy new melody to go with a catchy chorus, nothing more, nothing less. I thought fans of the original who also listen to electronic might dig this, so check it out.
Ahoy! Ignoring my corny intro, this song is definitely a treasure… (sound of crickets chirping). Omnitica has put together a seriously original and endearing track that features everything from strings to a grimey synth bassline, it’s a fresh take on a genre that can be very cookie cutter. Excellent track, can’t wait to hear more like this!

I know without a doubt that this post is going to be love/hate for most people, and that’s mostly going to be due to the original artist of the track. That’s okay, sometimes I like posting stuff just for controversies sake ;). But seriously though, it’s hard to do a dubstep take on a classic track, and I happen to enjoy the places this track went.
