Nice, super chill hip-hop jam coming from Jonah Baseball, who was actually a part of yesterday’s post. A 100% laid back sound all the way through, and that mix-up in the middle of the track… nice. Enjoy and show love.

I am really enjoying the recent sounds of Lindsay Lowend, plus… dat name… Anyway, this track is a great example of transitions done right, it easily switches from a chill vibe into a “I’ll have a dance party by myself!” feel and right back again. Good stuff.

I’ve been loving the recent stuff that Freddie Joachim has been putting out lately, awesome sounds that really aren’t afraid to get creative. Binoculars is another such track and I’m totally entranced with that sample! Show love if you dig the sound.

Wow, this is that straight funk. Positively divine beat tape by Vanilla, it’s up for free, but if you can float a purchase for the FLAC, you’re ears will thank you. Enjoy and show love!

Definitely a great hip-hop sound with a lot of soul, I had to share this one by FuzzOne/Dr.Brown (who needs to decide on a name) because it’s just too good. Enjoy the warm weather and show that download some love.

Ellie getting a lot of love this week with R/D’s remix and now a different spin on a entirely different song by our dude Minnesota. It’s a bit heavy, but the sound works well in my opinion. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this one, so be sure to leave a comment.
So, this track was released a bit ago, but that doesn’t stop it from being enjoyable (especially for those who haven’t heard it). Tears for Fears released the original “Mad World”, followed by Gary Jules’ notorious re-spin of the song with a far more mellow sound. Today, Manic Focus brings you a new twist.
Wow, great track to get lost too. Found this through one of my other favorite music sources (if you were on the newsletter, you would know, just sayin’ ;)). Definitely had to share, unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a download up at the moment.
In case you’re still wondering what’s going on with this track, it’s a remix by R/D of a cover by Ellie Goulding of an original song by The Weeknd… yeah. Despite the messy title, it’s a good song and a bit of a return for R/D to older works mixed in with his new sound. Enjoy.
