As I mentioned on our Facebook, the original track has seen a recent boost in popularity due to it being featured in a DMC trailer, even though that song is nearly 2 years old. Not that anyone minds, this self-made remix by the Glitch Mob entitled “Beyond Monday” is just another example of the talent that the group has, even when it comes to remixing their own songs! I’m glad to see electronic tracks breaking into more mainstream mediums, and I hope it is a trend that continues.

Crazy 8-bit feel to this track, the intro leaves you wondering what the hell you are listening too, but things pick up if you give the track some time, and it ends up being an enjoyable (if a bit weird) experience. Make sure you show Sugarpill some love on his Facebook and check out more of his stuff if you enjoyed this, definitely a distinct sound, but also a really memorable one.
Great remix from a talented young glitch-hop producer, I believe this to be one of my favorite variations of this now classic track by The Glitch Mob. Great use of the sounds in the original, and a great take on the melody, the song is clearly a tribute yet it definitely has it’s own distinct sound. All I can say is that I look forward to the new EP to be released by Cryptex, you can learn more about it on his Facebook.
Off of the great remix album hosted by Download To Donate, (which I recommend you support) it features a lot of talented upcoming acts, and was where I first heard of Beats Antique and R/D, so it was a pretty important release for me. Today however, I’m featuring the super clean remix by St. Andrews of The Glitch Mob’s “Between Two Points”, with super crisp drums and a nice melody this one definitely does the original justice.
Something a little different from the usual, but I thought Omega put forth a great effort on this track, and I definitely love the sample (10 points to Slytherin if you can name it). The build up is nice, and although it doesn’t have a traditional drop, the pacing of the song was excellent, although certain sections got a little repetitive in my opinion. Overall, a solid track and I think that you’ll enjoy it.
A fantastic remix from the “Peaceblaster” remix album put together by STS9, this is probably one of my favorite tracks off of an album that features artists like Pretty Lights, Ronald Jenkees, Big Gigantic, and STS9 as well, so it’s saying a lot. The Glitch Mob really brought a fresh perspective for this track, and dare I say I think I actually like it more than the original, it’s definitely great work so download it for yourself.
R/D always seems to deliver high quality, and highly surreal remixes, he has an interesting taste in music and his adaptations of these tracks in these remixes really show how much talent he’s got, and some of the great things we can likely expect from him in the future. It is a distinct sound to be sure, but for those that enjoy it, you can seem to find anyone quite like R/D.
Brand new track from The Glitch Mob off of the highly anticipated upcoming EP entitled ‘We Can Make The World Stop’, this first track shows a continuation of the highly creative side of the Glitch Mob that we see on their albums such as their debut, Drink The Sea. I for one am excited for the rest of this release, which is coming out on July 12th, but for now enjoy the first track and the free download.
Off of the remix album that features a couple of talented artists all doing their own version of “64 Bytes”, this is Eprom’s remix attempt at his own original song, and as usual, it comes out totally off the wall and really well done. Eprom sticks out in my mind through his use of crazy samples and how all of his songs keep a crunchy & robotic melody throughout, and this one fits the bill as well.
Positively one of the best mixtapes I’ve heard in a long time, R/D brings a warm feel to all of his music, and adds a kick with glitch effects very akin to The Glitch Mob (with whom he often collaborates). Just starting to make a stir in the scene, R/D is a future star in the making, and if you listen to the variety of powerful melodies in this mixtape, I’m sure you’ll understand why.
