Been a while since I featured the dude Chris Hurst up on here, but he’s back with a great little set for summer. The top track is called “Merry Go Round”, I believe by Marv Johnson? Either way, great mix of tracks for the summertime, so download and enjoy.

Kind of pushes the genre boundaries, at least as classified by this site, not really pure hip-hop or electronic, but rather just a really enjoyable listen. Check it out and show Loui The Zu some love to the free download.
As much as you all enjoyed Birdland Volume 1, I definitely had to throw up this great mix from Bird Peterson. There is a bit more of a synth/electronic sound than in Volume 1, but the whole selection is still quality and a great listen. Enjoy, show love, etc.
Gonzo’s Love Vibrations EP was well received last post, and you guys were also digging his miscellaneous tracks on SoundCloud, so I wanted to post up this latest release which is in the same style: short but sweet, with a lot of soul.
Ah yes, it’s always a good day when Michal Menert puts something up on SoundCloud, new or not. Today Menert dropped a few hip-hop instrumentals and man, this whole mix is tasty. Mellow out and try not to get too anxious about his next release… which is finally coming out April 24th!
I know a lot of you (myself included!) really enjoyed Bird Peterson’s Birdland Volume 1 mix. He’s back today with a decidedly different sound, but I think you’re going to enjoy it. There’s a hint of Peterson’s hip-hop style in this mix, but it’s also composed of some hard electro, so take the journey and show some love if you enjoyed it.
A lot of you (myself included) were big fans of Gonzo’s miscellaneous tracks on SoundCloud. Luckily, we get a second helping today with a full EP, I’ve got two songs featured above (in full, the tracks are generally short but sweet), if it fits your vibe, download the whole thing for free and show a little love for Gonzo’s excellent release.

You’ve heard me rant and rave about how much I enjoyed Drankenstein 2 (3 was a minor letdown, IMO), well, Bird Peterson is back with some ice cold instrumentals, I’m really shocked at these for whatever reason, maybe not expecting this kind of sound, but it’s awesome!
